WildFire and Soho Sixx are in the Illuminati office going over the New Blood match schedule for tonight.
WildFire :"So it's NEW BLOOD CHAMPION Gunzo vs MacFarland in a championship ladder match and Detritus and you in a #1 contender ladder match tonight."
Soho Sixx nods .
WildFire :"Hmm now we see how Gunzo really stacks up. I know you would like another shot at him after your humiliating defeat a couple of weeks ago,but it's that same victory that gives MacFarland the leg up as #1 contender tonight."
WildFire :"Yes he has been looking pretty good lately, some key wins and he seems to have the momentum right now."
WildFire :"So why not just make them both Submission matches since both Detritus and Gunzo are weak that type? Give MacFarland the upper hand?"
Soho Sixx frowns
WildFire :"Of course if I put you and MacFarland in submissions matches against your opponents you both would most assuredly wipe the floor with them setting up a much anticipated rematch, that would be boring and trite."
Soho Sixx nods.
WildFire :"Instead lets have you two, and them of course, prove yourselves worthy of your spots. If MacFarland wins he wins in match which isn't in his power zone as it will be if you win. It's easy to win at your specialty type match, but to go against type and win as the underdog. Both Gunzo and Detritus are good at ladder matches, while it remains to be seen if either of you can overcome the odds that are stacked against you."best
Soho Sixx smiles.
If you or Adam or both of you win tonight then the Title match at the PPV will be a two of three submission match and that will be something to see."
Soho Sixx shrugs.
WildFire :"Ahh right what if Both Gunzo and Detrius win? Hmm that would be a boring pickle wouldn't it?? Then let's do something completely different... what if for the first time ever we had a singles championship contended by a TAG TEAM match? We could team up Gunzo and MacFarland vs Detritus and you at the PPV with the winning tag team walking away as co-champions until next season when we have a special best of three challenge. Next season the co-champions would each choose one match they are really good at with the 3rd type being chosen by our roster and the winner of 2 of the 3 matches will be undisputed New Blood Champs."
Soho Sixx looks thoughtful.
WildFire :"Hmm that might be more interesting ....team up with someone who hates you to win the title together at the PPV and then face off next season against eachother...it's never been done perhaps we should look into it? Food for thought eh?"
