Introduction to a great fight

"I'm on the Rock" by Movado starts playing loud. Dark Horse comes out to loud cheers.

Carlos Sanchez: This seems to be the man everybody loves to hate these days. Although something seems to be off about him lately. I can't quite put my finger on it but...

Charles Witherspoon: He shows great promise but every time I see something good from him, he goes the other way. For instance he was in complete control last week against Twilight Storm and ends up losing the match. Makes you wonder doesn't it. What's Dark Horse's true aim here in SCT?

Dark Horse begins making his way down the ramp to the ring.

Carlos Sanchez: I don't know myself, and he seems reluctant to tell anybody. I just know when something is not right with people. And he seems to be a few dollars short.

Dark Horse gets in the ring and starts to climb a turn buckle but then he stops and looks up at the ceiling for a good while as if inspecting it for something.

Carlos Sanchez: What's he looking at?

Charles Witherspoon: I don't know, we saw him backstage doing that last year. He never gave an explanation.

Dark Horse looks around at the people as whatever was holding his attention seems to have gone. He gets a hold of where he is and has a mic thrown in looking kind of embarrassed. He raises the mic to speak just as Tamara's Music hits.

Charles Witherspoon: WOA!!! What's this about?

Tamara comes out from behind the tron and makes her way to the ring and slides in. She grabs the mic from Dark Horse's hands and smirks at him.

Tamara: When I call people to my office they show up. People who don't show up don't usually like me too much. I mean it was a simple request. But I did make it. I wanted an agenda from New Breed. Since I spoke to Kings Reign already, and Superfamous. I expected you.

Dark Horse makes to answer but she waves her hand in his face.

Tamara: But anyway, I'm out here about something more important tonight so can you please leave the ring.

Charles Witherspoon: WOW!!! She has a bite as mean as her bark.

She gives Dark Horse a condescending look. Dark Horse glares at her and then exits the ring and walks to the announcer's table.

Tamara: SCT is always looking for the best talent. Our acquisitions are without a doubt superb, every single one of them. With a few exceptions of course. Ehem.

She Casts a sideways glance at Dark Horse who shifts his weight from left to right.

Tamara: That being said. SCT has acquired another great talent to add to it's already talented roster. And without further interruption would you all please join me in welcoming SCT's newest member.... LAAAAAZZZAAAAARUUUUUSSSSS MAAAAGREEEEGOOOOOOOOORRRR.

The crowd gets on their feet and Lazzarus' music hits.

“Monster” by Skillet blares over the loud speakers and at the top of the entrance ramp a beautiful blonde women appears. The camera cuts to Tamara who looks a bit confused. The women walks down the entrance ramp and enters the ring under the top rope; she walks confidently over to Tamara and just smiles as she holds out her hand. Tamara stands there not knowing what to make out of this as this is clearly not what she expected. The women points at the microphone and again holds out her hand. Tamara pauses and instead lifts up the microphone to speak.

Tamara: You obviously missed the part when I said without further interruption. Sweetie if you’re looking for applications you can talk to Alice backstage, if you get out of my ring in the next 30 seconds I MIGHT even look past this as a overzealous way to get my attention. Now…

The women stands there looking a bit perturbed and suddenly swipes the microphone from The Interim President’s hands.

Women: My name is Arie…

She looks over at a stunned Tamara.

Arie MacGreggor: …that’s Arie MacGreggor. Now it is all true that my HUSBAND, Lazarus MacGreggor is the newest and most important signing that SCT will ever see but he doesn’t just come out on demand like some trick pony that you can parade out here. Lazarus is getting ready and when he is ready he will make his grand appearance, not a second sooner.

Tamara takes back the microphone.

Tamara: Let me see…the last time I checked I run this promotion. I choose who gets air time and who gets sent back to the sidelines. Lazarus was told to be ready and out here for this time. I don’t pander to anyone here and just as fast as I signed him I can call in my lawyers and have the contract nullified so…

“Monster” by Skillet plays once again and this time Lazarus MacGreggor appears at the entrance ramp. His cocky grin holding back laughter at the situation before him. He enters the ring and motions for a microphone.

Lazarus MacGreggor: Ladies, ladies, ladies, it seems we have gotten off on the wrong foot. My deepest apologies Ms. President. I meant no disrespect by missing your timeline. I was delayed and only sent my lovely wife down here to inform you of the delay. She can get a little blunt at times and the message isn’t always delivered with the tact that I sent it with.

With that Tamara seems to accept the apology and takes a step back to let Lazarus address the crowd.

Lazarus MacGreggor: Now to get to the business at hand. Our lovely president can be pretty persuasive and I have in fact chosen to make SCT my new home. Some of you may be familiar with my work and others it will just be a matter of time before you have yourself a new hero to look up to, someone to idolize and inspire you. I will introduce you all to a new level of excellence. I have done my research and watched the tapes so it is just a matter of time before there is a new Master of Terror Champion.

Lazarus smirks and laughs just a bit under his breath.

Lazarus MacGreggor: Does that sound cocky? A bit arrogant? It may to you that haven’t seen me before, but to those of you that know, know that I am just laying out facts. I am that good…

The Crowd is Cheering Loudly and Arie scampers out of the ring. Lazarus turns to see Dark Horse Charging at him full speed and Slips out of the ring and both leave the ring side and stand on the ramp way looking in. Dark Horse stops his stride and walks to where the Mic is. He picks it up and goes to Tamara and lowers his head to hers. She stands her ground until she see the look in his eyes she begins to back away until she is stopped by the ring post.

Dark Horse: Madam - President. It's good to finally meet you. I saw your handy work last week. In fact, New Breed got a little of your utmost attention last week. So let me warn you this once.

Tamara regains her composure and pushes him back a little bit and speaks into the mic in his hand.

Tamara: You.. Warn me. Hmm. I don't think yo...

Dark Horse: IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU THINK!!!

The crowd starts cheering loudly Dark Horse moves even closer to Tamara and she backs even more onto the ring post.

Dark Horse: The only thing that matters at this moment is the fact that you had the nerve to interrupt me while I was about to address the Millions.

Crowd: AND MILLIONS!!

Dark Horse: of DH faithful all over the arena. Actually implicating that DH is somehow NOT TALENTED. Do you think you can actually come out here run me from the ring and that's the end of it. That I'd tuck my tail between my legs and walk away? What is that it?

Tamara tries to speak

Dark Horse: I'm not done!!! First thing is, don't you ever in your life think you can walk out here and demand that the People's Champion do anything other than wrestle. NEVER!!

Tamara grabs the mic, but Dark Horse grabs it back from her and glares at her. She shrinks back into the corner as he moves his face close to hers again.

Dark Horse: I'll let you know when you can speak. For now. Shut it!!

Carlos Sanchez: Oh wow, this is different. I have never seen Tamara at a loss for words before.

She stands with her mouth wide open and then starts glaring at Dark Horse. Without even paying much attention to her Dark Horse turns his attention away from her and toward Lazarus who is standing at the base of the ramp watching the situation with a smile. Arie is checking him over for any wounds. Tamara is seething behind Dark Horse.

Dark Horse: As for you. Who do you think you are to even mention the Master of Terror. That title belongs with New Breed. And you.. You're not even fit to lick Superfamous' boots much less fight him for the title. So let me let you in on how things work here. Because it seems like a lot of people are laying claim to running things round here.

Lazarus mouths off something and Dark Horse doesn't pay him any attention.

Dark Horse: Fact You're nobody who Tamara thinks is good enough to be in SCT. Talent? I've never heard a ya. Cocky? Arrogant is more like it. So let me do everyone a favor and knock you down a few notches.

Tamara steps around Dark Horse angrily and demands the mic. Dark Horse ignores Tamara and raises his head Arrogantly and closes his eyes and listens as the crowd chants his name. Tamara turns around and tries to hush the crowd but they get even louder. Dark Horse opens his eyes and looks up at the rafters and raises the Mic.

Dark Horse: I can see it all clearly. In one corner, the new comer... Lazarus something or other. In This corner THE GREAT ONE. Dark Horse. We enter the ring and have a great fight. Well, atleat you last more than two minutes anyway, which I've been hearing rumors... Dark Horse puts on a great show by... Oh no wait. I see something else, and it doesn't look pretty. We get in the ring, I hit you, you kiss the canvas, I pin you and walk away. But I guess it doesn't really matter does it. Fact is Tamara here got you into something you should've never been in. She got you into the sights and ire of the Dark Horse.

He looks down and steps past an angry Tamara and glares at Lazarus who doesn't look too happy with the things he said.

Dark Horse: In other words Laz, if you got the guts I'll see you out here later on tonight. You can have your first kiss of the canvas facing the greatest thing in SCT.

The Crowds erupts.

Carlos Sanchez: This is more like we're used to seeing. Welcome back Dark Horse.

Tamara grabs the mic

Tamara: Let me get this straight. After losing bad last week, you actually want to fight Lazarus. Well. let's make it official. Tonight in this very ring. Will be. Dark Horse going one on one with Lazarus MaGreggor. That's when it becomes official.

Dark Horse smiles and walks past Tamar not even really looking in her direction and goes to the Ring post. He climbs it and stands with his left leg on the top rope and his right leg on the second rope. He raises his head arrogantly and closes his eyes as the crowd begins to chant his name.

Tamara Drops the mic angrily and leaves the ring with Lazarus, and Arie following closely behind her.
