The Illuminati are in their office gathered around their conference table discussing the upcoming season.
WildFire : "I am tired of seeing the same old same old matches all the time, I think last season 3/4 of our matches were Last Blood."
Legacy :"But what we got is what we got, it's not like we got infinite options."
WildFire :"We do to a point, we can make new matches or we can create new challenge."
Legacy :"New Challenges?"
WildFire :"We can create special match challenges where instead of just using random matches we can create a best of 3 set, we can even design tournements around it."
Bigjobs shakes his head :"Hmm I don't get what you are talking about."
WildFire :"Like an Iron Warrior Challenge. Instead of always being one match, in this case Last Blood against multiple opponents we could package it as a I Quit, Last Blood and Steel Cage match, the idea being that an "Iron Warrior Challenge" should combine Strength and Endurance, and you don't find that in just one match."
Bigjobs :"Ahh anyone can be good at just one match, but a challenge is more than just one match so if you beat it you prove something and it's harder to do so it's worth more."
Legacy :"Ya that's cool so I could do something like a "Hardcore Legend Challenge" which would be Hardcore, Ladder and Steelcage and if I win it would be cool .
WildFire :"Yes anybody can call themselves Hardcore, or an Iron Warrior, but most people who do just specialize in one match type. Most Hardcore warriors are only good at "Hardcore matches", but a true Hardcore Warrior should be good at more than one type. There are lots of matches that fall into Hardcore type. So here people have a chance to prove that they are Hardcore or an Iron Warrior in more than just the match type they specialize in."
Bigjobs :"So why just three matches why not five or six?"
WildFire :"For simplicity's sake and the simple fact we don't want people bogged down and facing eachother for more than that at a time. After facing the same opponent for more then times in a row in the same season, it becomes boring and trite."
Legacy :"So do we get something if we win?"
WildFire :"Well theorectically, if you can win all three matches in the challenge, then you can actually call yourself by it."
Bigjobs :"Sort of like having a belt, without a belt??"
WildFire :"Ahh yes I guess."
Legacy :"So if I beat MacFarland in a Hardcore Legend challenge, then not only do I beat him but I win the right to call myself a Hardcore Legend??"
WildFire :"Only if you beat him in all three matches."
Bigjobs :"So if I win all three of the matches in an Iron Warrior challenge then I am an Iron Warrior, but what stops others from just making up Challenges? "
WildFire (laughs) : "We are the Illuminati, we make the rules and decide what's what. Besides it will take time for the concept to catch on."
Legacy :"So let's help it catch on, I like the Idea of being a Hardcore Legend I will challenge MacFarland to a Hardcore Legends Challenge."
WildFire (smiles) : "And Bigjobs will challenge Tommy Gunz to a Iron Warrior challenge."
Bigjobs frowns :"But Nathan Fisk is the SCT Iron Warrior, and before him TDX."
WildFire :"Which has no belt, no title defense, no nothing, and like I said anyone can specialize in just one match type."
Legacy :"And you want to give Nathan Fisk the finger and remind him how much winning just one tourney is worth."
WildFire laughs :"Coming out on a throne like he's taking a dump and bragging about it and showing it off to everyone."
Bigjobs shakes his head :"For what it's worth..."
WildFire :"Nathan Fisk and TDX will be put in their place soon enough."
Legacy :"In the deepest darkest corner where they belong."
WildFire :"That's all they are good at skulking in the shadows, backstabbing, lying and cheating, playing off by themselves in their own little playground."
