The Immortals, Legacy, Soho Sixx, Big Jobs, Twilight Storm and Scout are in their lockeroom getting ready for their upcoming matches at the season ending PPV.
They look up from their preparations as the lights flicker and WildFire appears in the middle of the room.
Legacy :"Hey man where ya been ? I know you made me Leader but I am no good at speeches and stuff, you said you would be here to motivate us?"
WildFire :"Apocalyspsia..."
Legacy :"What?"
WildFire :"Nothing, anyway, lets get this done, tonight is a big night!"
WildFire pauses before addressing his fellow Immortals.
"In the book of Psalms and Proverbs there is a word that applies to me applies best to this moment, SELAH. It means "Pause and Consider". They would use use it as a break in a song or a Psalm.. a pause to think..to absorb what was said before continuing. A call for reflection. Selah."
WildFire :"Today, here and now we stand at such a moment. A moment which may very very change the lives of all of us forever."
WildFire pauses :"Today we are Immortals. Men and Women of a Legacy and Strength of Character and purpose found nowhere else. We have existed in many forms, names and members. But always whether we were know as "The Illuminati, AWA : Entity of Death, Blood Of Brothers or The Immortals, we live and fight and breathe, for the same things. Our family, our friends, eachother and the chance for this MOMENT. This one moment, this one chance to put it all on the line, to fight with all our hearts and souls together and to win."
WildFire :"Selah."
He pause for a moment.
WildFire :"We are Immortals, we are family and friends, brother and sisters, bound not by blood but by a choice, a choice made time and again and bound in blood and glory , to fight together with everything we have, to live in this moment and to live and love with everything we have."
WildFire :"Selah."
He pauses.
"For some of us this is our last day here, for some of us this is our last moment of Glory together, for others our Glory has yet to come, and others there has been and will be years of glory and glory yet to come. But for all of us who stand here in this moment together, this is as always our last moment because there will never be another moment, another time and place like this. Remember this when you step out into that ring tonight, as you give it your all. We are Immortals, though we will always survive, regardless of our name and our membership, and the ideals and the reason we fight will always remain the same, fight with everything you have like there is no tommorow, because there will never ever be another time, another day, like this one."
WildFire :"Sellah."
WildFire :"As we stand here, take the moment to reflect on this and the people who have come before us. Reflect on what it means to be an Immortal and remember the people who are near and dear to us and why we fight."
WildFire pauses looking very sad.
WildFire :"And remember those who can't be here and we have lost in the past year, like Dan and Zeus. And ..."
WildFire's voice breaks and tears fill his eyes.
WildFire gathers himself :" And our dear, dear, dearest brother, who would have been celebrating his birthday with us right about now, if he hadn't been tragically taken from the world far, far too early... Blackangel ."
WildFire :"Tonight please fight for him hardest of all, and as you enter that ring tonight, as you sit here and reflect, Selah."
WildFire turns and walks out of the locker room tears in his eyes.
