Stetsons are cool

Valerio is walking across the backstage area. She is walking up somebody who is leaning against a wall and suddenly she recognises him.

Valerio: "What are you doing here?"

Frank Jaegar: "I'm working in this federation just like you do."

Valerio looks bored

Valerio: "You know what I mean."

Frank Jaegar: "Right now I'm leaning against this wall here."

Valerio taxes Frank Jaegar from head to toe.

Valerio: "What...what is that on your head?"

Frank Jaegar: "This right here?"

With a sole finger he shoves the hat on his head a bit back into his neck

Frank Jaegar: "I'm wearing a Stetson. Stetsons are cool."

She shakes her head. One cannot say if she is trying to hide a smile or if it's just an expression of digust.

Valerio: "You look ridiculous."

Frank Jaegar: "And that is why I'm wearing a mask..."

She looks suspicious at Frank

Valerio: “I cannot imagine that you are standing here to hear my opinion on how you look. “

Still cautious she says

Valerio: “And until now you were mainly talkative ABOUT me instead of WITH me. So just bring it on…say what you have to say…”

He looks around as if she were talking to somebody else he can't see

Frank Jaegar: "Are you talking to me?"

As he points at himself he cannot suppress a little smile and a cheer from the crowd inside the arena can be heard.

Frank Jaegar: "Hehe, movie references...thehe... Well, I didn't ask for your opinion on how I look. I just told you mine."

He snaps his fingers close to the hat he's wearing.

Frank Jaegar: "And I have preferred talking ABOUT you instead of WITH you, because you seem to be not much of a talker."

He pauses to let the words settle down.

Frank Jaegar: "No, you're more an action person...a person of action?"

He nods as he smiles - more to himself than to her.

Frank Jaegar: "Are you not?"

Valerio who crossed her arms and just looked at Frank stays quiet for a few seconds

Valerio: Hmm…

She looks Frank straight in his eyes

Valerio: “I have a head for business and a bod for sin. Is there anything wrong with that?”

The crowd cheer again as they recognize another movie quote

Valerio: “Working girl, 1988”

She keeps on looking at Frank and her look turns grim

Frank Jaegar gestures a judging sign, implying that he's not quite convinced. He pauses a little, with a smug grin across his face.

Frank Jaegar: "Maybe I have been a little too subtle here..."

He makes a swinging movement

Frank Jaegar: "...you know... steelchair-wise... leadpipe-wise...you have any idea how to regain the Tag Team Titles with a crippled tag partner?"

He leans his head to a side thinking

Frank Jaegar: "I wonder if there is a single person inside SCT who is still willing to tag with you. Your partner attrition is rather high, isn't it?"

Valerio starts to smile

Valerio: “Yeah…I wonder how many more partners I have to demolish until YOU will finally say : Yes, I want to tag with you”

A wide smile appears on her face and slowly she takes a step backwards

Frank Jaegar: "Well. The signs can be easily found and interpreted."

He points down the hall.

Frank Jaegar: "Go to the next book shop just around the corner. Pick a bible and read the signs that are being described in the Revelation. As soon as all that stuff happens, you will see me in your corner."

He sets the hat into a more comfortable position

Frank Jaegar: "But I'm getting distracted from the point. You know that Ben-Ben wouldn't allow a beautiful woman to remain outside the PPV no matter her skills?"

He clears his throat

Frank Jaegar: "Mr. President arranged a Push The Button Challenge to determin your next tag partner. Such a coincidence."

Valerio laughs and turns around to walk away. While walking she turns her head

Valerio: "Such a pity...And here's another unasked opinion: Loose the mask, keep the Stetson!"

Without answering Frank Jaegar gets off the wall and starts walking down the hall

Frank Jaegar: "You should better get going. Linda Lee is at the stage already."

In a far distance one can hear "HELLLLLOOOOOO..."

Frank Jaegar: "Maybe one day we can have a Stetson vs. Mask Match"

He turns towards Valerio again and throws the Stetson to her...

Without looking if she catched the hat, he continues his walk down the hall again.
